This section is providing information on various OpenID providers; they are listed alphabetically.
Mainstream Websites as OpenID Providers
If you just want to test OpenID and don’t feel comfortable registering with a new service, you will be pleasantly surprised that you probably have an OpenID already. Some well-known services have turned the URIs of user profile pages into OpenIDs. That’s actually pretty cool, isn’t it? No need for another provider; well, at least for testing purposes. Of course, you can stick with those providers but you can also switch to another, more specialised one later on. We have not much details about those providers’ OpenID related features. The reason is quite simple: we didn’t contact them.
The respected URIs are provided, so you can get started right away.
